A Collection of Comfort Zones

The homeowners of this pool deck and patio project in Goshen, Indiana, wanted a relaxing backyard space anchored by a large in-ground pool, with a fire pit and a hot tub, as well as space for seating and a pergola. The objective was to create a unified look that would run throughout the deck and patio, while also setting aside smaller “lounges” within the larger space to accommodate various functions. Grand DISCOVER PAVERS® ground the pool deck and patio with a calming but illuminating blend of earth brown and taupe. Laid in an alternating pattern of various sized concrete pavers, they are accented by 4x8 ELEMENTS™ PAVERS. Their moody charcoal tones serve as double-course edging that sets apart the pool and the fire pit lounge. The edges of the pool itself are capped with PRESTIGE™ COPING PAVERS that present a smooth speckled cream finish. The Smooth SUMMIT STONE Circle Fire Pit Kit and Circle Kit Cap reflect the look of the deck and patio; the same warm earth brown and taupe adorn the body beneath a dusky charcoal-hued cap.

The rectilinear pattern of the pavers echoes the rectangular shape of the pool, while circular and rounded elements such as the fire pit and the corners of the pool deck bring a comforting organic softness to the overall design.
