Purdue University’s expanding Aerospace Discovery Park District houses the campus’ internationally recognized aviation and aerospace program alongside several research and development facilities for both the university and international companies. In 2019, Saab Defense announced its move to the district, where it will develop fighter jets for the United States Air Force, replacing the entire fleet by 2034. Crews began developing the lot in 2020 with the installation of storm and sanitary infrastructure. County Materials proudly supplied 92 lineal feet of precast box culverts to divert the flow of the property’s creek.
