Solution: Concrete retaining wall units and pavers overcome sloping yard challenges while upgrading curb appeal.
This suburban home near Minnesota’s Twin Cities gave a big boost to their home’s curb appeal by upgrading their front entrance with concrete landscape products manufactured by County Materials.
Before the project, the lot was graded in a way that the ground sloped down below the front porch, leaving a visible gap and a space accessible to pests. The homeowners hired Neil’s Outdoor Services to improve the aesthetics and function of their front entrance. Using Smooth TRIBUTE® WALL SYSTEMS in Timeless, the contractor built a small retaining wall to level the slope around the porch. This new wall closed the gap beneath the porch and also created a level space for decorative plants that will grow to provide privacy for the front porch.
