County Prestress & Precast Meets WisDOT's Bridge Construction Timeline

As two aging bridge structures approached the end of their service life, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation sought a reliable, long-term solution that could be implemented quickly to reduce lane closures and mitigate traffic congestion. Prestressed concrete bridge girders, manufactured by County Prestress & Precast, proved ideal for their high-performance strength and unmatched service life. In addition to structural benefits, the girders offered time savings, as they could be simultaneously manufactured using two production facilities. Within one month, 16 prestressed girders were manufactured, delivered, and installed to meet the demands of this project.
