County Materials Corporation has purchased the assets of the Florida-based company Panhandle Precast of Northwest Florida, LLC, a respected precast concrete structures manufacturer serving the western Florida panhandle since 2018. The purchase includes all manufacturing assets and the Freeport, Florida, real estate associated with Panhandle Precast’s operations.
This investment strengthens the County Materials’ strategic expansion into Florida and the broader Southeastern United States, enhancing its ability to supply high-quality concrete pipe and precast products to both public and private construction markets.
“Panhandle Precast has built a strong reputation in a fast‑growing region,” stated Jeff Allen, South Region Manager for the Pipe and Underground Infrastructure Division. “Acquiring this facility enables us to expand our product offerings and create many synergies with our established Astatula, Florida, location.”
County Materials’ newly added Freeport facility will offer a full range of precast concrete solutions, including storm and sanitary systems, box culverts, and concrete pipe.
