Partnering with Habitat for Humanity to Support Students

Mar 23, 2026

In 2025, the County Materials Family of Companies partnered with the Greater Fox Cities Area Habitat for Humanity to support the 362nd Youth Build project. Through this collaboration, local students gain valuable construction skills while helping build a home for a family in need.

Youth Build involves high school students from Menasha High School. During these projects, students receive hands-on construction training, equipping them with practical skills, such as operating equipment and installing drywall. Working alongside experienced volunteers and industry professionals, students obtain mentorship and learn softskills like teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership.

Since 1976, Habitat for Humanity has helped families achieve stable, affordable housing that improves health, education, and economic opportunity. The organization continues to bring people together to build homes and strengthen communities through initiatives like Youth Build projects.

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, the County Materials Family of Companies supports worthy organizations in four service areas, including Hunger and Homelessness Support, Service Member and Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse and Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring and Skills Building.
