Founded in 1933, Church Health Services (CHS) was established to remove barriers to healthcare for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals and families. Throughout the 2025-2026 year, the organization strengthened its operations by expanding school-based mental health support, improving access to dental care, and enhancing pharmacy services.
Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the County Materials Family of Companies, a donation was provided to support CHS’s programs, helping expand resources for children, adults, and families.
Expanding Mental Health Support
With our support, CHS delivered essential mental health services to local students where they live, learn, and grow. From November 2025 through April 2026, 268 counseling sessions were provided, reaching children as young as 5 years old and strengthening early access to mental health care.

Improving Dental Care & Enhancing Pharmacy Services
In partnership with the County Materials Family of Companies, CHS is committed to addressing the evolving healthcare needs throughout the community. Over the past year:
- More than 2,000 patients received dental treatment
- Outdated dental equipment was upgraded to maintain high-quality service
- Over $220,000 in prescription medications were provided
