We are proud to announce Mark Telin as our second quarter COUNTY Champion. Mark is a Production Supervisor in Roberts, Wisconsin, and has been with the County Materials Family of Companies since 2013.
Mark earned this award by demonstrating Our Commitments through Teamwork, Accountability, Motivation, Integrity, and Leadership. Award recipients receive a $1,500 cash prize and a framed certificate signed by Tim Sonnentag, owner of the County Materials Family of Companies.
Widely recognized for his commitment to teamwork, Mark consistently supports his team during high‑pressure production situations. For example, during an extremely demanding week, he personally showed appreciation by thanking team members and handing out water and treats.
Mark is continually seeking ways to improve efficiency and stay up to date with new codes and regulations, demonstrating a strong commitment to operational excellence and quality standards. During a recent production project, he demonstrated strong leadership by coaching his team on the proper removal and reinstallation of a casting, helping keep the project on track and resulting in early delivery to the customer.
“In the time I’ve worked with Mark, I’ve witnessed his work ethic and his workplace integrity,” states Lily Perez, Mark’s team member. “Every interaction I’ve had with Mark, he has put the safety and well-being of every team member first, and without delay. When tasks become challenging, he graciously and actively listens to all parties involved and puts everyone at ease. His patience is truly remarkable.”
