We are proud to announce Jennifer Ostrowski as our first quarter County Champion. Jennifer is a Human Resources Business Partner in Custer, Wisconsin, and has been with the County Materials Family of Companies since 1999.
Jennifer earned this award by demonstrating Our Commitments through Teamwork, Accountability, Motivation, Integrity, and Leadership. Award recipients receive a $1,500 cash prize and a framed certificate signed by the owner of the County Materials Family of Companies, Tim Sonnentag.
Jennifer is recognized for her commitment to teamwork, extending far beyond her role on the Human Resources team. In one example, Jennifer personally helped a customer load their vehicle at the Appleton location after hours, even though she was already on her way out, the store was closed, and it was in challenging winter conditions.
“When Jennifer transitioned into her Human Resources role, she invested significant time in training the new team member. Her patience and collaborative mindset quickly became evident. Jennifer went above and beyond to set new hires up for success by creating an exceptionally detailed training binder and working side by side with them to ensure they felt confident and supported. It is apparent that she views success as a shared outcome and takes personal responsibility for strengthening the entire team,” says Tracy Mashak, Business Process Manager.
