The T.H. Legacy Foundation was founded in honor of Army veteran Tim H., who was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Tim’s last wish was to go hunting one last time, and with the help of his community, that wish came true. The organization was created to ensure veterans facing challenges have the opportunity to experience moments of purpose and connection.
With the support of the Sonnentag American Foundation, the T.H. Legacy Foundation organizes programs and events in Wisconsin to help veterans achieve their goals, reconnect with nature, and connect with fellow service members.
Recently, the Sonnentag American Foundation sponsored two Wisconsin hunting experiences for veterans. Through our support, the T.H. Legacy Foundation can expand its offerings to include unique programs such as Operation Honey Pot, a guided bear hunt for veterans, and the Gold Star Turkey Hunt, a hunting experience created specifically for the children of fallen service members.
