Partnering with IMTEF to Build a Skilled Workforce

Written by Admin | May 14, 2026

The County Materials Family of Companies partners with the Chippewa Falls and Madison, WI chapters of the International Masonry Training and Education Foundation (IMTEF) to support high-quality training and educational programs that enhance skills, advance career development, and keep our workforce current on innovative techniques and technologies.

IMTEF programs begin with pre-job training and apprenticeship programs and continue throughout a worker’s career. As new technology and materials emerge, IMTEF offers advanced training to keep workers up to date on these developments. These opportunities help enhance skills, improve career development, and keep our workforce updated on the latest techniques and technologies in masonry construction.

Recently, our organization donated products to the Bricklayers Apprenticeship Contests, a skills competition hosted by the IMTEF on April 6th and 29th, which tests practical and technical abilities in bricklaying, blocklaying, stonework, and related trades.

Through the Sonnentag American Foundation, the County Materials Family of Companies supports many worthy organizations, such as IMTEF. We provide support in four key service areas: Hunger & Homelessness Support, Service Member & Veteran Support, Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services, and Mentoring & Skills Building.
