Setting Others Up for Success: John Kaiser

With more than 38 years of experience in the prestressed concrete industry, including four of them with County Materials, John Kaiser, views every day as a new opportunity and new experience to grow.  Kaiser is the Prestress Operations Manager at County Materials’ Roberts, WI manufacturing facility. County Materials’ prestress plant in Roberts produces custom components for bridges across the region. According to Kaiser, building custom concrete prestress products brings new and unique challenges every day.

Kaiser takes part in the hiring process for all new team members in the plant. “I tell every new team member that what they get out of their career at County Materials is entirely up to them,” says Kaiser. “We give our team members the tools they need and help them along the way, so if they put in the hard work and dedication, their opportunities are endless.”

For Kaiser, his goal is to prepare the next generation to be future leaders in County Materials. He knows retirement is in his future, and he feels he has been coached for success by others in the company. He wants to share this vision with team members he is mentoring and create a path for others to grow within County Materials. “You can only be as successful as your team members set you up to be, which is why we support everybody to have success.”
