Safe Working Practices Reinforced in Driver and Mining Safety Training

Team safety and success are essential values promoted by County Materials. At the beginning of each year County Materials conducts safety training classes for all the company’s drivers and team members who work in aggregate quarry operations. Over the next several months, every driver, maintenance technician, and dispatcher will participate in specialized driver training meetings covering safe working practices, regulations, and Department of Transportation requirements. The meetings also offer team members the opportunity to ask questions, discuss concerns, and share suggestions.

Team members who regularly work in an aggregate quarry or perform specific mining-related work attended training meetings covering Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) standards. The sessions included best management practices, task training, and a review of MSHA regulations.

County Materials values the safety of our team members and manufacturing quality products. The company offers safety training and development opportunities to demonstrate our Vision of Success, Stability and Support.
