Hollowcore Plank Proves as an Ideal Choice for Multifamily Complex
Lexington Flats is a 50-unit multifamily complex that was constructed as part of the City of Eagan’s affordable housing initiative. Prestressed hollowcore plank, manufactured by County Materials, was used to form an underground parking garage that doubles as a reliable, fire-resistant foundation for the residential structure above. Over 15,750 SF of 8-inch and 12-inch depth hollowcore, 150 SF of 8-inch depth solid slab, and 700 LF of precast columns and beams were delivered and installed within one month to keep the project on schedule.
