County Materials Sponsors STEM Day Camp to Inspire Local Youth

The Samoset Council, Boy Scouts of America, is on a mission to help Weston, WI youth mature into wholesome, capable, and contributing adults. Through the organization’s diverse programming, scouts build confidence, develop leadership skills, and discover interests. STEM Day Camp is one of many programs that offers interactive, hands-on activities. Children in the program participate in exciting lab activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). The goal of the day camp is to spark interest in the Samoset Council’s year-long STEM Scouts program, which encourages youth to consider a future in STEM with engaging experiments and presentations.

County Materials, through the Sonnentag Foundation, sponsors STEM Day Camp to inspire youth with broadened experiences in STEM. This year, in celebration of our company’s 75th anniversary, County Materials is committed to share 75 Stories of Impact, featuring organizations that receive funding from the Sonnentag Foundation and are part of the communities where we have locations.
