County Materials Partners with the Women’s Community to Empower Survivors and Save Lives

The Women’s Community of Wausau, WI provides specialized services and resources to people in Central Wisconsin affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Each year, the organization serves more than 1,600 clients and helps them and their families attain greater emotional and economic self-sufficiency through quality programming, advocacy, and education. The Women’s Community believes financial barriers should not affect someone’s ability to receive the help they need. They provide shelter, food, clothing, counseling, and confidential services to all clients free of charge.

County Materials, through the Sonnentag Foundation, helps the Women’s Community empower survivors and save lives. This year, in celebration of our company’s 75th anniversary, County Materials is committed to share 75 Stories of Impact, featuring organizations that receive funding from the Sonnentag Foundation and are part of the communities where we have locations.
