The Salvation Army Florida is dedicated to doing the most good by providing food, shelter, storm relief and other services based on need. Similar to the larger international organization it’s part of, the Florida Division assesses hardships and challenges affecting the communities it serves and builds programs to offer relief. Each year, The Salvation Army Florida serves over 5,100 meals as part of its emergency food assistance program. An additional 4,800 meals are provided to children receiving homework and tutoring assistance.
County Materials, through the Sonnentag Foundation, supports The Salvation Army Florida in its mission to meet human need wherever, whenever, and however and provides assistance to fulfill this goal. This year, in celebration of our company’s 75th anniversary, County Materials is committed to share 75 Stories of Impact, featuring organizations that receive funding from the Sonnentag Foundation and are part of the communities where we have locations.
