County Materials Partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters to Change Perspectives and Lives

Big Brothers Big Sisters creates and supports meaningful mentorships that help children realize their full potential and build strong futures. The organization pairs school-aged children with caring adult mentors who will help their “little” build confidence, succeed in school, and avoid risky behavior. These positive relationships have a direct and lasting impact on “littles”, who often face adversity at home or in school. Big Brothers Big Sisters matches are supported by professional staff members who ensure positive outcomes for each child, parent/guardian, volunteer, and community member involved.

County Materials, through the Sonnentag Foundation, partners with 12 Big Brothers Big Sisters chapters in our local communities. This year, in celebration of our company’s 75th anniversary, County Materials is committed to share 75 Stories of Impact, featuring organizations that receive funding from the Sonnentag Foundation and are part of the communities where we have locations.
