County Materials Helps Wausau Youth Open Doors to Great Futures

The Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area is dedicated to ensuring all kids, especially those who need support the most, have access to quality programs and services that will enhance their daily lives and shape positive futures. The Club offers a variety of school year and summer programming to meet the needs and interests of school-aged children and teens. These fun and engaging programs promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, good character and leadership, and post-graduation career planning.

A free Meal and Snack Program is additionally offered to provide Club kids and teens with nutritious meals and snacks during school year and summer programming. Each year, the program serves 50,000 nutritious meals and snacks.

County Materials, through the Sonnentag Foundation, partners with The Boys & Girls Club of Wausau Area to help local youth open doors to great futures. This year, in celebration of our company’s 75th anniversary, County Materials is committed to share 75 Stories of Impact, featuring organizations that receive funding from the Sonnentag Foundation and are part of the communities where we have locations.
