County Materials Donates Splitface CMUs to Menasha Youth Sports’ Renovation Project

Menasha Youth Sports, located in Menasha, WI, is a nonprofit organization committed to providing local youth a positive sports experience, teaching good sportsmanship, honesty, courage, and respect. The organization relies on community support to fund its baseball and softball programs that are made available to school-aged children, regardless of family income.

With community support, Menasha Youth Sports launched its Light the Lights campaign to fundraise for necessary complex upgrades, such as the installation of lighting and the construction of a concessions tower. County Materials helped the organization reach its goal by donating Splitface Concrete Masonry Units for the concessions tower, which will also serve as a scorer’s box and equipment storage area. As Menasha Youth Sports continues to expand, the structure will become the complex’s power station for future lights. County Materials’ donation helped the organization become more self-sufficient, as concessions sales will increase funding and enhance programming.

County Materials is proud to partner with Menasha Youth Sports to provide children in our local community the opportunity to enjoy sports and learn valuable life skills. This year, in celebration of our company’s 75th anniversary, County Materials is committed to share 75 Stories of Impact, featuring organizations that receive funding from the Sonnentag Foundation and are part of the communities where we have locations.
