County Materials Donates Oversize Landscape Step Units for Community Park Renovation Project

Located in Kimberly, WI, Sunset Park is a beloved community asset that is often utilized for community events and recreational sports. The expansive park is separated into upper and lower levels that are connected by a winding bike path and several sets of stairs. After many years of heavy use, the stairs began to crack and crumble, posing a significant safety hazard. The Kimberly Recreation Association noticed the condition of the steps and determined it was time to renovate Sunset Park.

County Materials proudly partnered with the Kimberly Recreation Association to donate the funds and materials needed to resurface the park’s upper and lower baseball diamonds and the stairs that connect them. The park’s new stairs are comprised of 45 Oversized Landscape Step Units that were manufactured and donated by County Materials. These concrete steps enhance the safety and comfort of park visitors while adding a subtle touch of beauty that will endure for many years to come.

As part of our mission to build the communities where Americans live, work and play, County Materials supports fundraising efforts to improve the quality of life in the communities where the company has locations.
