County Materials’ 2020 Charity Golf Outing Turns Inspiration Into Action

On August 27, 2020, County Materials Corporation hosted its 14th Annual Charity Golf Outing at the Wausau County Club in Schofield, WI, raising an impressive $300,000 for charities supported by the Sonnentag Foundation. Since hosting its first charity golf outing in 2007, County Materials has raised more than $1.6 million for the foundation, helping to change people’s lives for the better and build stronger communities where County Materials has locations.

With sponsorships from dozens of concrete industry partners, the Sonnentag Foundation can continuously increase its impact. This year, the foundation will support more than 44 organizations in four key service areas: hunger and homelessness, military personnel and veteran support, sexual abuse and domestic assault services, and youth mentoring and skills building.

County Materials extends its sincere gratitude to the companies that helped make this year’s outing the most impactful one to date. Because of their generosity, the Sonnentag Foundation is able to turn inspiration into action and spread its resources to more organizations and individuals than ever before. Recognition is extended to the Platinum, Gold, and Silver Event Sponsors, along with numerous others who made this year’s outing a great success.

Among this year’s Platinum Sponsors were Aggregate Industries, Alternative Risk Resources, Fabick Cat, Hansen Reynolds LLC, Hawkeye Pedershaab, Lafarge Holcim, McCoy Construction and Forestry, and Truck Country. Gold Sponsors included United Structures Inc. and Continental Cement. Silver Sponsors included BASF, RBC Wealth Management Group, Hamilton Kent, Liberty Engineered Wire Products, Rock Road Companies, Inc., Insteel Wire Products, and Michels.
