Concrete Pipe Week: State Leaders Visit County Materials’ Holmen, WI Pipe Manufacturing Facility

Senator Jennifer Shilling of Wisconsin’s 32ndDistrict and Representative Steve Doyle of Wisconsin’s Assembly District 94 visited County Materials’ Holmen, WI pipe manufacturing facility on August 20thfor a tour in recognition of National Concrete Pipe Week. 

“County Materials has an impressive facility in Holmen,” said Senator Shilling. “It is clear that County Materials is passionate about community infrastructure and worker safety, and it was great to see that firsthand.” 

Not only does County Materials produce concrete pipe that builds resilient communities, the company employs more than 1,500 people in six states including, Wisconsin Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Florida. National Concrete Pipe week recognizes the value that concrete pipe provides local communities, as well as vital careers offered by the industry across the country. Career opportunities at County Materials are diverse, interesting and challenging. County Materials supported National Concrete Pipe week by sharing industry appreciation to customers and industry partners, as well as hosting plant tours across the company’s many locations for elected officials and industry professionals.
