Charity Golf Event Highlights the Power of Community and Raises More Than $476,700 for Local Organizations

The Power of Community was on full display at County Materials’ 2023 Charity Golf Outing, with leaders in the construction and landscaping industries coming together to support organizations that empower people and help build stronger communities.

The event, held August 24 at the SentryWorld Golf Course in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, raised $476,715 for the Sonnentag American Foundation, County Materials’ philanthropic arm.

Since 2012, County Materials' Charity Golf Outing has raised nearly $2.9 million for charitable initiatives and organizations that receive funding from the Sonnentag American Foundation in communities where the County organization has locations. The foundation focuses on the following key service areas:

  • Mentoring & Skills Building
  • Hunger & Homelessness Support
  • Service Member & Veteran Support
  • Sexual Abuse & Domestic Assault Services
