Aggregate Team Members Participate in Equipment and Safety Training

In February, nearly 30 aggregate production team members from several County Materials Corporation locations participated in a day of hands-on equipment and safety training hosted by the Fabick CAT facility in Weston, WI. This is the third year County Materials and Fabick CAT have partnered for this successful event.

Training sessions covered equipment walk arounds and inspections, screener training, and an overview of different types of aggregates mined by the company and used in production. Working directly with Fabick CAT provided team members the opportunity to train with specialized equipment personnel and expand their safety knowledge.

“This type of training is important for our aggregate production team members to perform their job safety and efficiently,” said Ted Peterson, Operations Manager for County Materials’ aggregate locations. “Our company is committed to updating production team members on best practices, safety initiatives, equipment improvements and learning from our industry partners like Fabick CAT.”

Safety training is one way County Materials demonstrates its Vision of Success, Support and Stability.
