County Materials’ enhanced production capacity helped contractors meet an aggressive schedule for the reconstruction of the Zoo Interchange in Milwaukee. County Materials manufactured and delivered more than 37,850 LF of reinforced concrete pipe, 500 LF of horizontal elliptical pipe, and 1,150 precast. County Materials additionally supplied 56 prestressed bridge girders for the project. The durability of reinforced concrete pipe and prestressed bridge girders ensures the Zoo Interchange will be a resilient asset for the interstate system for generations.
