Insulated Sandwich Walls Offer Flexible and Efficient Material of Choice for Warehouse Expansion Project

Doubling the size of a warehouse facility may seem like a challenging undertaking, however, construction is efficient with the use of Insulated Sandwich Walls manufactured by County Materials Corporation. The flexibility of Insulated Sandwich Walls helped Compass Commercial Construction Group to construct Phase 2 of a warehouse expansion project in one summer.

County Materials’ Whitestown, IN facility manufactured and delivered 103 Insulated Sandwich Wall (ISW) panels to an industrial park southeast of Lafayette, IN. Sitting just off of Veterans Memorial Parkway, a 157,000 sq. ft. warehouse, home to several companies, was set to double in size. Insulated Sandwich Walls were the ideal choice for this demanding job because they are manufactured to meet project specifications and are ready to erect upon arrival.

The wall panels were designed and manufactured so they could precisely line up with and be connected to the existing building. They matched the look and met the exact needs and functions of the warehouse facility. Each ISW panel was also engineered to meet the requirements of the additional trades that will be working on the building.

During a project’s construction, County Materials’ team effectively communicates with many trades including the general contractor, flatwork concrete contractor, electrical company, heating and cooling companies, and more to assure delivery and installation of ISWs goes as smooth as possible.

After the erection process is complete, County Materials’ crew checks the panels for quality assurance – a practice done with every Insulated Sandwich Wall project supplied by County Materials. This verifies the panels are not damaged during delivery and installation. From the initial concept phase to the completed project, County Materials’ team is there for our customers every step of the process.
