The I-270 North Project was coordinated by the Missouri Department of Transportation to update infrastructure and enhance safety. County Materials’ Prestressed Bridge Girders were chosen to replace aging steel girders on Lindbergh Boulevard. Prestress girders were chosen for their unmatched structural strength and extended service life that can reach 100 years. County Materials worked with project leaders to mitigate road closures and delivered the girders for nighttime installation.
