The following information is a general overview of employee benefits administered by Central Processing Corp across the country. Note: Benefits may vary by business unit and location.

Health & Wellness Benefits

Health Insurance:  There are three plan options to choose from, all with your choice of preferred provider networks.  Insurance is effective on the first day of the month following one full month of employment.  Central Processing Corp and its employees share the cost of healthcare benefits, with the company offering significant financial support. 

Prescription Drug: All health plan options offer prescription drug coverage with retail and mail service options.

Employee Assistance Program: Central Processing Corp’s Employee Assistance Program provides help by offering confidential counseling and education services, professional assessment, resources and a referral service designed to assist you with a wide range of work/life needs including information on:

  • Health and Dependent Care Account: This is an optional pretax account that provides opportunities to set aside money to pay for certain healthcare and dependent day care expenses.

Health Savings Account: Employees electing to participate in our High Deductible health plans have the opportunity to have a Health Savings account opened on their behalf to cover health related expenses.

Dental, Vision, Critical Illness, Accident, Identity Theft, Disability and Life Insurance: The premiums for these benefits are offset by the company at a specific rate per pay period.

Financial and Wellbeing Benefits

Savings/401(k):  The Company offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan for regular, full-time employees who have completed two full months of employment and are at least 19 years of age. The plan is offered through payroll deduction along with company matching.

Insurance:  Regular, full-time employees are eligible for various insurance coverage plans, including employee and dependent life insurance, and short and long-term disability. Additional benefit offerings for employees covered under the company provided life insurance are Estate Guidance, Travel Assistance Program, Beneficiary Assistance Program, and a Financial Guide After the Loss of a Loved One.

Work/Life Balance Benefits
Our benefits are designed to make life healthier, happier and more convenient because we recognize the importance of work-life balance.

Paid Time Off: Employees are eligible for vacation following their first anniversary date. Hourly employees, who work a minimum of 1,560 hours in their anniversary year, will earn vacation days based on their years of service and the actual hours worked in the previous anniversary date. Salaried employees will earn vacation days based on their years of service. 

Years of Service Awards: County Materials recognizes employees that have long term service with our organization and who reach anniversary milestones. Central Processing administers Years of Service Awards on behalf of County Materials by giving paid time off hours earned by eligible employees for every five years of consecutive service completed. 

Holiday Schedule:All employees are eligible to earn paid holiday hours through Central Processing for the following holidays recognized by County Materials: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and the day after Christmas Eve Day. Other holidays may vary by state and location. Holidays are determined each year based on business needs and the day that they occur.

Attendance Hours: Attendance hours are preapproved, unpaid, excused time off to be used in (1) one hour increments equaling (40) forty hours or (5) five days. This allows employees to request unpaid time off to complete everyday life occurrences (i.e. doctors appointment, school meetings, etc.).   Attendance Hours are reset annually on an employee’s anniversary date. 

Product Discount Program:Central Processing employees are eligible for a discount on products purchased from County Materials and other operating companies beginning on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. Product discounts are only allowed for purchases made by a Central Processing employee.

Corporate Discounts: Employees are eligible for discounts through retail shops and vendors who provide corporate discount programs to our organization.

Uniform Program: County Materials offers a Uniform Program that is administered by Central Processing for designated employees. It includes comfortable and professional looking uniform shirts at no charge. The uniform program is designed to maximize safer working conditions, help you reduce work clothing expenses, provide freedom from excessive laundering, and eliminate damage to your personal clothing.

Scholarships:The Sonnentag Foundation offers financial support for continuing education to children of Central Processing employees.

Jury Duty Leave: Available to eligible regular, full-time employees who are serve on a jury.

Bereavement Leave: Available to eligible regular, full-time employees to attend the funeral of an immediate family member and other family members.  

Family and Medical Leaves: Central Processing Corp provides leaves for family and medical reasons for employees who meet FMLA eligibility.

 Q: How do I apply for a job at County Materials or one of it’s affiliate companies?

A: Central Processing Corp invites all interested and qualified candidates to use our simple, online application process to apply for employment opportunities. For any position you are interested in, you must apply online using Central Processing Corp’s online application system.  As part of this application process, you must create a profile containing your current contact information and qualifications.  You can view all open job listings by clicking on the Employment Listings tab at the top of the screen and follow the steps provided.

Q: I have missed the deadline for a position. Can I still apply?

A: If a position is no longer posted online, the position has been closed and you will no longer be able to apply for that position.

Q: Do I have to submit a résumé and an application form?
A: You are not required to submit a résumé and application form.  You can manually input your information into the online application form. However, you must attach one document when you set up your profile. This attachment can be a cover letter, résumé, references, or any other document that is relevant to your application.

Q: Is there a preferred method of naming my cover letter and resume documents?

A: Please include your last name and first name and the job title or job number when naming your attachments, example: Smith_James_resume_10001. Naming the documents in this way will be especially helpful if you apply  for more than one job with Central Processing Corp. Please avoid using long or confusing file names.

Q: What format should I use for my resume and cover letters?

A: We accept Adobe (.pdf) and Word (.doc and .docx) documents. Please limit your file size to 150MB.

Q: What if I forget my login information?

A: Your “username” is your e-mail address, and by default, it will be used as our primary method of contacting you. If you’ve forgotten the e-mail address you used when applying, you will have to register again with a new e-mail address and re-enter your personal information. Click on the Forgot my Password link and you will receive an e-mail with a new password and a request to change your password. If you forget your password, you can change it by visiting the Log In page, where you will see a Forgot Password link. Click on the link and follow the instructions. A new password will be sent to you via e-mail.

Q: What if I want to change my username and/or password?

A: You can change your username and/or password by logging in and visiting your applicant profile.

Q: How do I know if you have received my application?

A: Once you have completed the application process, you will receive a confirmation page indicating you have successfully submitted your job application. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail at the address you specified in your application.  If you do not receive a confirmation, or if you receive an error message, you can contact the Human Resources Dept (in the U.S.) at 1-877-492-5181 during regular business hours, (7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CST, weekdays) to report the problem.  You can always review your applications and related documents in your profile at Employment Listings/Update Your Profile.

Q: Will I be notified if the job has been filled?

A: Positions remain on our website until they are filled. Unfortunately we are not able to contact everyone when a position is closed. You will only be notified that a position has been filled if you have interviewed for that position.

Q: Can I get updates when new openings are posted?

A: On the Search Openings page, click on the Location box and choose a location or Description Keywords box and enter description then click the Search box. Everything that matches your search will appear. Then in the Set a Job Alert box click on the Save bell. Enter your email address and click submit.  It will send you an email to confirm and once confirmation is made the system will automatically send you alerts when a posting becomes available matching your criteria.

Q: Can two people use the same e-mail address to apply?

A: No, your e-mail address is part of your personal profile in Central Processing Corp’s applicant tracking system.

Q: What are the advantages to applying online?

A: Filling in an online application is an effective way to quickly get your information and resume to Central Processing Corp.  You can update your profile at any time so that your information is up-to-date.  Your application can be shared within the organizaion for similar roles, if you chose this option.

Our story dates back to 1946. Following World War II, the family owned business was hauling sand and gravel to area farm and residential jobs, and started manufacturing concrete block for area farmers and contractors with a single machine in Marathon, Wis.
