    Our Culture: Our organization’s culture is built on our Values of Team Members, Safety, Quality and Customer Service. Our Values explain why we are in business. Every team member is expected to live by a code of conduct, called our Leadership Commitments. Our Leadership Commitments are Teamwork, Motivation, Leadership, Accountability and Integrity. Together, they represent how we show pride in choosing to be a team member with County Materials, and how we value our customers and our coworkers.

    Leadership Award Program: Recognizing great behavior and performance is a priority in our organization. Our peer-nominated Leadership Award Program offers an opportunity for everyone to be acknowledged and rewarded for “going the extra mile” and living our Leadership Commitments. Our appreciation program ensures that team members have a chance to be recognized for giving their best every day and contributing to the success of our company.

Advancements in products, equipment and systems are continuously creating career opportunities and allowing us to expand into new markets. With more than 1,500 employees, our dynamic, fast-paced organization manufactures and supplies a large selection of high quality concrete products and related materials used in construction and landscaping markets. Our strengths include concrete manufacturing capabilities, construction industry experience and a customer-service-focus. We supply products used in infrastructure, transportation, commercial, municipal, agricultural, and residential applications.

    Safety: Team member safety is critically important in everything we do. Safety is driven by a strong commitment from top-level management through our GUARD for LIFE principles, and safe behaviors and attitudes are part of our organization's core values. We continue to make significant strides in safety and wellness by implementing innovative programs and partnering with our team members, with regulators, and with our communities.

    Wellness: In 2012, we introduced Explore Wellness — a health and wellness program for our team members and their families designed to help you explore what personal wellness means to each person. Having healthy, productive team members is critical to business success. Explore Wellness helps provide peer motivation and available resources. In these and other ways, we are striving to promote a high-achieving workforce that successfully manages both personal and professional responsibilities. The Explore Wellness program currently offers team building opportunities and activities and incentives to encourage our team members to challenge themselves to focus on their individual health and wellness.
