Setting up a County Closet Account

As an employee of County Materials Corporation, one of the benefits available is discounted apparel and accessories from our Company store. The following steps will help guide you to successfully set up a new employee account.

All users must have an active User Account (employees and general public) to make purchases from County Closet. All first time User Accounts must be approved by a County Closet administrator before purchases will be processed.

Step 1: Click on County Closet at the bottom of any County Materials web page.

This will take you to the home page for County Closet. After successfully creating an account you will be able to visit this page at any time and access exclusive employee only pricing.

Step 2: Click Setup a new Employee Account. 

Create new account

You will need your employee number to create a new account.

After registering for an account your employee number will be your username to login to the site. For security purposes, please choose an 8-digit password with 1 uppercase letter, 1 number & 1 special character. You will also need a valid e-mail address associated with your account to receive account information, order confirmations and order status updates.

Step 3: Please fill in all required fields.

After completing the registration process you will be instructed to verify your e-mail address.

Step 4: Follow the instructions sent to your e-mail address.

After verifying your e-mail address, an administrator will be notified to approve your account. Please allow 24-48 hours for verification. Once verified, you will receive another e-mail letting you know that your account has been activated. You may then login to County Closet & order.

Step 5: Wait for verification, then login to County Closet to order.

Resetting a forgotten password

If you forgot your password, you can click the phrase ‘Forgot your password’ under the user name and you will be directed to add your email address. Check your email and copy the verification code provided and paste it into the password area under your username. It will then prompt you to put in a new password and then verify the password.

Estimated shipping timeline

Once you place an order and hit the Finish button, your order should be shipped to the address you provided in approximately 3-4 weeks.

How do I use my County Materials’ Gift Certificate(s)?

You may choose to redeem your County Materials’ gift certificate as a form of payment toward product purchases from our company, or toward online purchases from County Closet, including new prepaid Visa gift cards available under Gift Cards & Certificates.

  • This certificate should be applied as a payment method at checkout. For in-location product purchases, you will provide the County Materials’ sales representative with this original certificate. For online purchases through our County Closet shopping cart, follow the procedures indicated below.
  • This serves as your County Materials’ gift certificate; it should be treated as cash because it is not refundable if lost or stolen.
  • County Materials will not offer cash/change back for purchases that are less than the certificate value. Your minimum purchase amount must equal the value of the County Materials’ gift certificate.
  • Your County Materials’ gift certificate(s) must be redeemed within one year of the issue date.


How do I redeem County Materials’ Gift Certificate(s) for County Closet purchases, including Visa gift cards?

  1. Visit: http://www.countymaterials.com/countycloset/
  2. Log in to your County Closet account by entering your user name and password to activate your County Materials’ gift certificate.
  3. Click on any of the Product Categories section on the left menu bar.
  4. Continue shopping by selecting specific products to add to your cart and complete your order.
  5. Your minimum order must equal or exceed the value of your gift certificate to activate your gift certificate.
  6. Click on the Proceed to Checkout button located on the upper left side of the screen.
  7. In the Enter your Gift Certificate or Coupon Code Here: field, type in your individual one-time gift certificate code you were provided and click on the Add button; then Next.
  8. Add the Employee # of the person receiving/paying for this order.
  9. Select the Ship to Warehouse; then Next.
  10. For Employees, items will be shipped to your location. Note: Employee Free Shipping is automatically checked. Click Next.
  11. Any costs for Closet items that total more than your gift certificate value are the responsibility of the purchaser; you will need to provide additional payment information as instructed. Payroll Deduct is automatically chosen. If you wish to pay with Cash or Check or PayPal, click on either of those choices.
  12. Finish completing the remaining ordering procedures as instructed.

How do I use County Materials’ Company Paid Discount Codes for County Closet purchases for customer and employee appreciation?

  1. Visit: http://www.countymaterials.com/countycloset/
  2. Log in to your County Closet account by entering your user name and password to activate your County Materials’ gift certificate.
  3. Click on any of the Product Categories section on the left menu bar.
  4. Continue shopping by selecting specific products to add to your cart and complete your order.
  5. Click on the Proceed to Checkout button located on the upper left side of the screen.
  6. In the Enter your Gift Certificate or Coupon Code Here: field, type in your individual Company Paid Discount Code code you were provided and click on the Add button; then Next.
  7. Add the Employee # of the authorized person receiving/paying for this order.
  8. Select the Ship to Warehouse; then Next.
  9. Items will be shipped to your location. Note: Employee Free Shipping is automatically checked. Click Next.
  10. Finish completing the remaining ordering procedures as instructed.

If I choose Payroll Deduct for my payment method, when will the amount be taken off my check?

Payroll deductions for Central Processing employees will be deducted the next pay period after you have placed your order.

If I put an item in my cart and change my mind, how can I remove it?

You can click on the white X next to the item you do not want and it will remove automatically.

Some articles of clothing are pictured on the County Closet site without a logo on. Can I get that item without the logo?

No, all purchased items on the County Closet site will have a logo on except for the Safety Rain Suit.

If all of the items I ordered do not come in at one time, will you ship out as they come in or will you hold the full order.

We will ship the items as they come in.

Can I get my name embroidered on a shirt or jacket? Is there an extra cost?

Yes, but you need to make sure the size is correct as there are no returns once the name is on the clothing. The cost is $5.00 for adding a name.

Can I suggest another color or a new brand/style of a garment other than what you have shown?

Colors and styles currently shown are what is available at this time. We appreciate hearing your suggestions and feedback. How do I get help with my order?

What is the County Closet Return Policy?

• Acceptable returns only include items that are deemed defective by County Closet administrative staff because of a manufacturing error or poor workmanship, or because the manufacturer supplied you the wrong items. You will receive a confirmation with instructions on how to ship a return item. • Please note that County Closet does not accept returns when a customer orders the wrong quantity, item number, or color, or when a customer changes their mind about a certain item after it arrives. • Before submitting an order, be sure to carefully review the description of each item and note the sizing chart (if available) NOTE: If an item is not true to size or is not a traditional fit, it will be stated as such in the description. • County Closet merchandise is made to order for each customer; items are not returnable unless they have a true defect because of a manufacturing error or poor workmanship, or because the manufacturer supplied you the wrong items.
