County Materials is Distributor for Organic Joint Stabilizer
MARATHON, Wis. – County Materials is the exclusive distributor in Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota for environmentally friendly hardscape materials from Envirobond Products Corporation of Canada. Their naturally stabilized base and joint materials, available in bagged form, are transforming the industry as they replace other permanent and synthetic materials.
Free from harmful chemicals, Envirobond lets you create durable erosion resistant walks and paths near lakes, rivers and wilderness areas without the fear of polluting the water or harming any wildlife.
Stabilized Joint Sand for pavers combines a blend of high-grade angular joint sand with an organic binder for joint lock-up in segmental pavement systems. It’s easy to use—just sweep it in. When activated by water, it forms an adhesive gel bonding sand particles together. Flexibility allows it to withstand thermal movement and settlement of sub-base materials.
Stabilized Crushed Stone for flagstone combines fine crushed stone with an organic binder to produce a firm surface that resists erosion and automatically heals cracks created by frost heaving.

“What makes this such a great product is that it’s self-healing,” says Dale Laurin, Sales Manager of County Materials landscape division. “If frost causes a paver to move out of place, for example, Envirobond will bridge the gap when it gets wet, and harden when it dries. Because of this, the product will last longer and resanding will not be necessary.” In addition to being environmentally safe and easy to use, Laurin adds that the product is very price competitive.
