County Concrete Purchases La Crosse Company
MARATHON, Wis. (April 15, 2002) – County Concrete recently purchased Hemstock Concrete in La Crosse, Wisconsin. At its new location at 1702 Kramer Street, La Crosse, County Concrete operates a HomeScape Studio showroom, sales office, distribution yard, and a manufacturing plant for concrete block.
Previously, County Concrete operated a HomeScape Studio in the Bridgeview Plaza, and had a separate sales and distribution yard in Onalaska.
With their new operations now located in one complete facility, County Concrete is making it easier for La Crosse area home builders, architects, landscape contractors, and do-it-yourselfers to access the company's premium building, construction, and landscaping products.
County Concrete is focusing on the area's construction market by offering a complete line of concrete construction products, including Hollowcore Roof and Floor Systems. They're one of the first in the Upper Midwest to produce Hollowcore panels in depths that include 20", 16", 10" and the traditional 12", and 8" depths. Hollowcore exceeds strength requirements and is ideal for heavy-duty construction of commercial and municipal buildings, as well as residential home designs.
