County Materials now has several major manufacturing operations with contractor stores in this region. County Materials will manufacture concrete block and related products at their production facilities. By acquiring Quality Concrete, County Materials adds new product lines including StoneWall Retaining Wall, architectural block and labor-saving block.

County Materials has been serving the construction industry since 1946. In 2001, the company acquired Wisconsin Brick and Block Corp. of Madison, which served builders and landscapers for 100 years. It purchased Tews Lafarge retail and contractor stores in Oak Creek in 2002. The following year it purchased the assets of Best Block Company's concrete block manufacturing operations in Milwaukee.
