MARATHON, Wis. (Oct. 19, 2006) – While Xavier High School continues to enhance and expand on its Prospect Avenue campus, those in charge of the school’ s construction have turned again to County Materials in Appleton.
Family-owned County Materials has been involved with half a dozen projects at the school since the late 1990s, providing concrete construction materials such as load-bearing block. This includes a donation of concrete block for a concession stand this year.
The school recently broke ground for a new track, and also this year built a concession stand with a donation of block by County Materials. The school added to its classrooms with 33,000 units of block in 2005, its locker rooms (7,500 decorative yellow units) in 1998 and its auditorium (40,000 units) in 1997. Xavier is projecting an addition to its cafeteria in 2007.
