County Materials Offers Assistance in Rebuilding Ladysmith
MARATHON, Wis. (September 25, 2002) – County Materials Corporation is extending an offer to help residents in the City of Ladysmith who are faced with rebuilding after a tornado tore through their community on Labor Day, September 2.
Through their Community Rebuilding Program, County Materials will discount 30% off of the total cost for any purchase of brick and concrete block from County Materials that's delivered to a home or business within a five-mile radius of the city. For every brick or block purchase, County Materials is also donating 5% of the Ladysmith purchases to select local disaster-relief agencies, law enforcement and community service organizations, who work tirelessly for those in need.
Materials for rebuilding can be purchased through County Materials's sales office in Rice Lake. The program will run from September 23, 2002 to May 1, 2003. Restrictions may apply and the offer may end without notice. Purchases must be paid in full prior to delivery.
"We've established the community rebuilding program for those devastated by natural disasters," says Rebecca Sonnentag, County Materials marketing director. "As a part of the building community, this is one way of giving back to our customers during their time of recovery."
