Donation helps Little Leaguers hit clean field
VERONA, Wis. (May 2, 2007) – Few things foretell the warmth of spring and summer like the sound of activity at local ballparks. And a donation of decorative concrete trash receptacles will help the Verona Little League keep its newest facility clean.
County Materials has donated 10 concrete trash receptacles to the organization, which will open its field, at Ceniti Park on Verona Road, on Saturday. The facility includes three baseball/softball diamonds and a championship diamond. The Aggregate Finish bins are a heavier-duty, and more aesthetically pleasing, replacement to lighter plastic bins that had often blown over. The concrete replacements are in addition to concrete masonry units – including some Premier Ultra® Burnished decorative units – that County Materials provided for a two-story concession stand at the heart of the complex.
County Materials operates 30 locations serving the Midwest. The family-owned, American company is an industry leader in the manufacture and distribution of concrete block, brick, stone, ready-mix, hollowcore, pipe, pavers, retaining walls and Aggregate Finish products for residential, commercial and municipal construction and landscaping.
